Hello. My name is Jimmy Smith. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also sometimes called the Mormon or LDS Church. I served a mission for the Church in Rosario, Argentina from 1995 to 1997 and it was an amazing experience. I am married to the lovely and gracious Heather, and we have six wonderful children. We live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
About the Latter-day Saint Missionary Preparation Website
I got the inspiration to start this website via a strong impression from the Holy Spirit in 2008 when I was working full-time for the Church. I had many wonderful experiences on my mission as a young man in Argentina and I wanted to share what I had learned. The site is, therefore, geared toward future missionaries and designed to help them prepare physically and spiritually through practical advice and principled testimony. I hope the site is informative and uplifting and that young men and women preparing to go on missions will contact me if they have any questions or comments. Read more about me and my background on JimmySmith.org or read more details on my mission by clicking the blue button below.
